Introduction

This blog is a product of a class requirement for college writing 2. In this blog I essentially talked about whatever was on my mind and spoke a little bit about what I was learning in my class. Blogging I have to say is something that I do not intend to carry on in the future. A personal blog for me is something that I find rather weird and would rather simply write my thoughts in a journal, rather than make it public for the world to see. Maybe in the future I'll have to blog for my job on some sort of scientific endeavor. However for the foreseeable future this is it. Hopefully there is something to take away from the actual content of my blog, but for the most part I believe my blog can be summed up by, you are directly in control of your destiny and never stop questioning the world.

The first paper I did in the class was an experience synthesis paper were I had to synthesis two experiences which ultimately lead to a shift in understanding or some sort of epiphany in which I talked about my realization that we are in control of our lives to a degree that lets us be the architects of our experience. This paper thought me how to synthesis two sources together into something that lets the reader see how these related but separate experiences, lead to a new understanding.

After the synthesis paper we had other writing assignments but the one that left the most impact on me was the argumentative research paper. For my topic I decided to do climate change and it let me really understand a topic that I had semi thorough knowledge about. This paper really opened my eyes to research and showed me how powerful the impact of research can have, as it allows me to see the world in a new way.Overall this class provided me insight into the intricacies of writing. Of the examples I have explained above I intend to present them as well as include the purpose statements for the papers.
